Almost any fish gets along with snails...as long as they're big enough, gold fish and loaches will each baby snails...but if you go to a petstore and get the big ones then you'll be fine...

Myster snails are the best bet...they don't reproduce often, but if they do, thier eggs look like a booger on the side of the tank so, if your fish dont eat them, you can pull them off so your tank doesnt get over crowded with snails...
