My son will only eat corn if it is on the cob. I tried to show him when I cut some kernels off the cob it looks just like the stuff from the can. He still doesn't believe me.

kids can be picky...just the other day I broke a banana in two for my 3 year old son...and he got really upset, took them both and threw it back to me (and said, PUT IT BACK TOGETHER DADDY!!)...and promptly threw himself on the ground and started crying...(apparently he wanted his whole)

....so, I gave him a whole banana.....(after rolling my eyes)....

it's alot more fun to eat it off the cob...spoons aren't fun...lol...just let the kid eat it off the cob...lol...oh the ones in cans probably contain preservatives and stuff, so eating off the cob would be a better idea anyways! good luck :)

Just being a normal kid....
same reason they won't eat the bread crust, even though it is the same thing as the rest of the bread....

For the same reason that my daughter will everything that is IN a stew if it's separated, but she won't eat stew, because they are kids.
