If you are sure the battery is Good and trhe car won't start -- then you must have:

a starter problem, (starter or solenoid)
a fuel delivery problem, (fuel pump, fuel injectors, air-fuel mix, out of fuel)
an ignition problem, (spark plugs, distributor, ) or
a compression problem, (worn piston rings, etc.)

or your engine idle speed or timing could cause starting trouble if they are far out of adjustment.

Won't start and won't crank is two different problems. First won't crank, Try to clean the battery and cables where they connect if that don't work try to jump start it if that works have the battery and charging system checked. Won't start but cranks over, First check the fuses, check the alarm if you have one, check to be sure you have gas, check the engine for spark to the plugs. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Make, model and year of car? Does it crank but not start or no crank at all? If no crank condition, check the neutral safety switch or try wiggling the shifter (if it's an automatic) while you try to start. Otherwise, need more info......Paul

Start with the starter. IF you have a mallet give it a few whacks then try and start it. IF it turns, then you know the starter is part of the problem.

either the plugs or the cam belt.

if it's the cambelt, then ur problem is pretty serious, coz u already damaged the valves and ur engine by keeping trying to start it. u should have consulted the mechanic promptly by not trying to start repeatedly...

in all cases, everything can be done. it happened with me, and it costed me £700 to fix.

good luck...

This could be a number of things, 1] no fuel to carb, 2] no spark or electrical, ignition, plugs etc.3] fuel pump bad, or just could loose wire on starter, coil.

Try everything everyone else said, but first I would make sure your either in park or neutral, you wouldnt believe the amount of people think its in park but not all the way in. And the upside of feeling stupid--its the cheapest fix.
