Yesterday me and my freind were walking down the street and saw a homeless man on the side walk he grabed hold of my friend's skirt and asked us for money. he pulled up da
blanket that was on top of him and we
saw that he did not have a leg he needed money for that so he says. we did not have any money so we walked on. we did feel bad though. the next day we saw him in front
of our school it was like he kept coming closer.today he was on our soccer field .
I'm scared tell me what to do.

Tell your parents, or if you see him again when you go back to school go to your principle.

Welcome to the real world...
where people are homeless, by circumstance or choice
where people have no resources to survive, by their health, their mental state or by their laziness.
where people get sick, maimed, hurt, abused, killed or die.

What was the circumstance of your homeless person?

Obviously he has problems, but he does have choices besides pulling the skirts of girls walking down the street.

Should you take pity and give him money? Will you be helping or giving him a bottle of wine or drugs. You don't know.

Usually the best thing is to find help for him, by police, community services, church or contacting a homeless shelter that could pick him up. He'll have a safer place with more options.

A lot of the above I would follow. Be careful, many homeless people have mental illness and if they are going that aggressive to you I would tell some people about it such as your school principal, parents, and probably the police.

Tell your parents, tell a teacher. You dont know what kind of problems this guy might have beyond the obvious physical ones. If he keeps getting closer then tell him to leave you alone or you will call the police. Do call if he won't leave you alone or go back to school and tell a teacher or principal.

Ask your church to help him or the local homeless advocates to find an assisted living facility for him.
See if your church will pull together and do what churches are supposed to do.
buy him something to eat

I'd wait for him to ask again. Then I would remind him that there are places to get help without harassing everyone in sight! If that doesn't work I'd report it and let the authorities handle it.

Call your local coalition for the homeless. He sounds more desperate than dangerous.
