Drunk drivers because they can do more damage, both physically and emotionally for everyone affected by drunk-driving. More people have been killed or seriously injured by drunk-drivers. There are too many crosses on the side of highways that tell the horrors of driving under the influence.

Beginner drivers are typically in a vehicle on a learning permit with an experienced driver.
In contrast, drunk drivers have killed a lot of people, including a friend of mine.

My daughter just got her beginners on Thursday and I have taken her out twice now. I'm pretty scared when she comes to stop signs and turns but overall she does quite well and I should just relax and trust that she is being cautious because she is. A drunk driver might try to be careful but usually thinks they have good control when they don't.

A drunk driver..A beggining driver has some grip of himself, and at least knows how to stop.A drunk driver is simply out of control!
