Get a t-shirt....put it on someone your mom's size...cover your arms in finger paint...hug the person while they are wearing the shirt...then give it to her and whenever she needs a hug from you all she has to do is put on the shirt.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

I'm a Mom who Would love a hug. I guess that's my way of saying just spend a little time with me, and a hug would be great. Maybe you could grill something for dinner, or even get carry out Chinese, it doesn't matter if your here to share it with me. If you are out of town. please give me a call, send a hug over the phone and of course your love. One of the nicest presents I ever got for Mother's Day was a Baby Ruth's candy bar, my favorite just because I knew I was not only thought of but he knew what I liked. Happy Mothers Day!!♥

It means that your mom wants more of your time and your love. I don't know how much time you spend with her or whether you still live at home or not.
But as a mom of a teenager, these things mean a lot to us moms.
There are times when you may argue, disrespect or otherwise not show your mom how much you appreciate her (all kids do this from time to time), this is a good time to make her feel appreciated.
Tell her in writing how much she means to you.
If you decide to make something for her, make sure that you put EVERTHING away. While we appreciate homemade things, nothing is worse than having to clean up the mess from the nice meal afterwards (ever seen those cartoons of the kids who make breakfast for mom and then she comes down to a huge clean up in the kitchen??)

Give them a hug and a really sappy letter telling them all the things that makes them the greats est mom in the world I am a mom and I would dig that I am also a daughter and I have done that and my mom totally dug it

Maybe a special necklace or bracelet along with the hug. How about taking her
out for a special dinner and just talk. I'm a Mom and I wish I could do that for my
