You biggest problem with this question is "Who is Jewish?"

Example: Heinrich Hertz is a big name in radio and electromagnetics - he developed the dipole antenna in the late 1800's. Not sure how Jewish he was - his ancestors were Jewish but his father converted to Christianity and his mother was also Christian - so Hertz was raised Christian. But some claim him as a Jewish physicist.

By the away, Nobel invented TNT and there is no record I know of that lists him as Jewish.

Don't know his name...but he invented TNT. There were others in science and medicine but I just can't remember their names. Dr. Ehrlicht comes to mind. He invented a semi-cure for syphilis in the 1800s.
