math,writing, reading, an example would be 470-530 for reading, how do i get the single score? average the two? ill give 10 points.

ok, no one is understanding it, i mean for just MATH ALONE, I GOT A 460-550, SHOULDNT I HAVE ONE SINGLE SCORE FOR EACH SECTION?

You should add them together. When I took them I believe the highest you could get was a 1600 total.

There should be a single score somewhere in each section - like '510'. Look for it, front and back of paper.
Then add single scores for math, reading, and writing. The highest score in each area is 800, so the most you could get is 2400.

they give you a range for each section, bacause your scor depends on how well other students taking the test did, since you are doing a practice test, you would have to take the average of the range they give you- so for reading you would have a 500. but remember that on the actual sat your score will be different- lower or higher.
