Needless to say I am a bit confused. You say you are a talented motivational speaker, but your message implies that you have yet to start in this profession. Which really means you want to be a motivational speaker, you think you have the stuff, but aren't there yet.

You need to come up with a point of view that is solely yours and write a book about it. Start off small, meaning talk in church, a lot! If you really move people, you will start getting paying gigs. You need to live a sqeaky clean life from this point forward. All the rest is just fluff, advertising, websites, yada yada yada. You need to develop a point of view first.

Obviously, you need somebody to hire you, and the fact that you're gifted won't turn into bookings. If you look at motivational speakers, you'll see that many come from other successful backgrounds (sports, business) and that is the key to their getting bookings.

There are some successful motivational speakers for whom it is their speaking alone which has made their careers. But, even they have a hook--something that they're teaching. Otherwise, businesses won't pay for the engagement. I recommend that you get experience in business or some other arena to determine what your topic is going to be. It can't just be motivational. It needs to be quality or sales, or some other topic which business is always looking to imbue in employees.

It seems like it since most church leaders read only a few verses of scripture and then mostly do a long speech about that verse for the rest of the hour. And some are not even motivational in that I see many times they ridicule, chastise and accuse their own congregation of evils that are typical and unfounded and without tact.

1. publish a bestselling book (like on oprah's book list)
2. get elected president first
3. have a big crisis like near death or severe industrial accident then come back from it and get rich and be a CEO or something
4. become a zillionnaire when you are 20 then people will want to hear what you have to say.

If your speaking has helped anyone that helps to have them endorse you - and your "ideas" try to find someone to market you and book you at places to speak. Local colleges, business, depends on what your "gift" is but I'd find a good PR source to get you going - it helps if you have a following.
