If they admit that what they did has caused the problem, then they are responsible for fixing it.
If they refuse to fix it, contact the vehicle manufacturers customer service number in your owner's manual, or it will also be listed on their website. Complain to tehm and let tehm know that they told you the problem was caused by the repair.
If that doesn't work, get a lawyer.

I work in a car dealership. So first off I would start with the owner of the dealership. If you have talked with the service manager and you are still not getting anywhere - take it to the person above them. I would try the owner of the dealership. If your car is still under warranty or if you have a purchased an extended warranty - I would contact the warranty company. There are representatives of these companies that frequenty visit dealerships. If you have a problem, they will work with you in resolving the issue. If you can't get no satisfaction from the owner or warranty company, you can contact the better business bureau and file a formal complaint. But I would use this as a last resort. You get into a lot of paper work and this process can take forever. Depending on the make of your vehicle (Ford, Chev, Toyota, etc.) - you can contact the customer service for the actual make of vehicle and file a complaint on the dealership. But you really need to start within the dealership itself. You are more likely to get faster results. But if they are uncooperative - then you have no choice. Try the dealership - if no results, contact the warranty company, then the company for the make, if no help from any of those - contact the better business bureau. Hope this helps.

Well, if they admit they caused the problem and are going to fix it, that is all the recourse you have. What exactly are you wanting from them? They will need to fix the problem if they caused it. That's all. Good luck

Nothing. You have to pay them, or someone else to fix it.
Crap happens, you know? Something else was probably broken in there and what they did just either broke it further, or just coincedentily broke on it's own.
Deal with it. Maybe if you're luckly they will help you out and give you free parts or something.
The law will laugh at you. It's like if I was to call someone to fix the light on my garage door that was already falling apart, and when they opened it, it finaly broke.
Suck it up pal.

They have to fix it. They admit that they did it, so they have to fix it. If they don't you'll have to consult a lawyer. Another way is if you're a member some sort of motoring organisation and can get them to negotiate on your behalf.

The dealership should fix it for you. In fact, they really should give you a rental until they can fix it. Call them up and see what they have to say. good luck

i own a repair shop, and id go in person and talk to them ,they are liable for getting it running again,so don't accept it, or do anything to it until they get it like it should be,your not liable for any of this, anything they do to it they have to repair, and this is by law also, but don't settle for it until it is made right again, good luck hope this helps.
