Chicago! The first rock band I ever heard that had a horn section. Made for a unique sound and the songs were just plain great. My favorite songs from them were "Beginnings", Questions 67 & 68, 25 or 6 to 4, and Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?

Godsmack

Sully Erna has a voice that you can tell is not screened, and it's like a growling, but it's cool at the same time. He's also great at writing songs and can also play guitar, drums, and harmonica.

Tony Rombola has made noises come from a guitar that I've never heard(This coming from a Dokken and Led Zeppelin AND Alice in Chains fan).

Robbie is awesome at bass, though not so much a good singer...lol...

Shannon Larkin is one of the most amazing drummers I know. He bashes cymbols with his head when headbanging while playing. It's like he's having sex with the drums instead of playing them. A lot of people have ripped off his moves too x_X

I can't narrow it down to one band....I like different bands for different reasons....here are a few in no particular order...

Rolling Stones, Rush, Moody Blues, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, Beatles, Lead Zeppelin, The Who...

I could go on but my fingers are tired :D

Evanescence. Their lyrics are amazing, all the band members are great, and Amy has an awesome voice.

The only bad thing is that there are currently 3 band members.

I love the combination of punk, ska, reggae, and hip hop put into their music, their lyrics about real life, and they seem like cool guys you could relate to.
