My last period was on March 19 and I have tested positive on two pregnancy tests allready. According to my doctor I should be about 6 weeks pregnant so she did 2 blood tests on 2 different days, my hcg came out to 138 and the other was in the 200's. She said it was to low for being 6 weeks pregnant, Why am I to low? Could I have ovulated late? Is my pregnancy still normal and ok?

As of today you would be considered 7 weeks. This is a very low HcG for this point. How many days apart were the two tests? Basically your HcG should double every 48-72 hours.
Are your cycles normally 28 days or around there? It is possible you ovulated later if your cycles are longer than what the doctor is measuring against.
As long as the numbers keep rising things should be okay. Don't worry too much, plenty of women have low HcG #'s and deliver a perfectly healthy baby. At this point an ultrasound would be a better test for you than HcG #'s.
I hope everything is well!

Yeah I had the same problem. At a little over 5 weeks my levels were at 500. They thought that was too low. 3 blood tests and 2 ultrasouns later they have decided while I should be 8 weeks 1 day I am right now at 6 weeks 3 days and I just ovulated that much later than normal. I was just off of birth control though.

ya it could just be low if somthing is wrong it will show only in time but you should be ok, the numbers are just on average any way so it can be lower than normal and be fine.

No problem. Don't worry. You could have ovulated late. Or, something else could be going on. Still unless you are told to worry, then don't. Don't worry.
