First, I would hold on to it for 24 hours while I calmed myself down enough to make the right decision.
During this 24 hour "calm down" period, I would watch the news for any reports of burgleries or banks being robbed, etc. Also, I definately wouldln't tell anyone, not even family, that I had found the money. This info could be dangerous if the money happened to belong to someone using it for illegal purposes.
Now 24 hours have passed, and I probobly would be tempted to take some and turn the rest in, or even keep it all. Oh, gosh I don't know what I would do!!!!

Being perfectly honest? If someone is dumb enough to lose or misplace $4 million then its just "Happy Time" for me. I mean think about it. $4 Million just laying around? Why not in a bank account or in a check that is easily managed. Who would pull out $4 million and not do it via bank exchange? Buy a house? No, done via bank wire from account to account. If you find $4 million in cash, it prolly someones drug money or something. Keep and have fun!!

Four million dollars is a lot of money, and it's a sin to steal, so I would turn it in. It's the right thing to do. Although it would be very nice to have four million dollars, it'd be even nicer to give someone their lost money that they probably need.

If i found 4 million I would take it as a gift from God. I would give 10% to my church, then start college funds for my kids, buy a house near my church and start a home for unwanted kids.

First return it to the rightful owner, if not able to do so after 6 months, pay any applicable taxes (if any), and divide up the remaining into 3 equal portions:
1/3 to my family and friends
1/3 to set up a private foundation to fund local community projects with a focus on education
1/3 to buy no-load mutual funds and determine its usage at a later time

The good side of me would turn it in to the police. Anyone who was walking around with that much money & lost it must be looking for it!
The evil side of me would take a nice trip to a warm location!!! Why would anyone have that much money with them in cash unless they were up to something!!

well first i would make sure that it wasn't drug or mafia money - cause i sure as hell wouldn't want anyone coming after me for taking their money.
once i'm sure it wasn't - then i would be very careful who i told that i had that much money.
i would help out all my family - and put a big chunk aside for me. that is for a rainy day. then i would take care of whatever things needed taking care off in my life : debt, health problems etc..
then i would build the house i always wanted to - then travel.

With my luck in life I would most probably lose it. So of course I would give it to you.
