Can sum1 plz tell me what role can a HR function undertake in managing flexible benefits?

Human resource, at a the very least, would be involved in how flexible benefits fits into the total compensation strategy of the company. Which is huge issue.

Administratively, they would either perform or manage the process of enrollment, termination and payment of the benefits. Again, a very worthy task for any mammal.

1) Badly ..

2) Spend 5 years creating ambiguous and nonsense Policy that is 'all things to all managers' that imposes impossible requirements and unworkable restrictions that prevent any possibility of any real implementation
