"Let 'em In" by Paul McCartney.

"Somebody knocking on the door, Somebodies ringing the bell............."

I hated this song with a passion despite being a Beatles / Wings / McCartney fan. I could not understand how he could make such a stupid song but.............

The song was being played by every station at least twice an hour and it became one of those songs that sticks in your head and you find yourself humming and loathing yourself for it.

I finally paid attention to the lyrics and once I understood the references I found that I actually liked the song.

But it took more than four times to hook me.

no longer precisely..yet I were given quiet the concepts screw. i replaced into 10 when I were given Powerslave from Iron Maiden... and it replaced into astonishing.. so no, no hate.... besides the indisputable fact that the subsequent 12 months, I were given Killers, and prefer each and every punk youngster wannabe, i really knew no longer something about the band, so when I heard some monotone punk rock sounding stuff pump out the radio i replaced into like... WTH!?!???!?!?!?! I HATED that album for YEARS.... i imagine it took just about 8-9 years after that for me to learn from the Paul DiAnno albums (Killers and Iron Maiden). i'm superb with them now, concepts you... yet on the time, it just about melted my undesirable little mind attempting to decide the distinction. Iron Maiden and Metallica ( my a million and a pair of ) were particularly a lot prompt love. Now, my third in demand band.. Nightwish? Yeah.. i easily DID hate them the first few cases I heard them.. It replaced into no longer til someone appropriate me Planet Hell that i easily replaced into waiting to furnish them a authentic, intense listen. My variety 4, Bolt thrower took some time too. I in basic terms replaced into no longer waiting for lack of life metal at the same time as i replaced into 14..yet through 16 i replaced into down with it ( thanks in many cases to Slayers extra heavy vocals getting me over the cookie monster hump)

I wasn't much of a music person back then, but everyone loved rap and hated country, so I sorta followed that.

It twisted during the following years. So I can't stand "Yeah" by Usher but love the country music...can't name any though =)
