All of these are old-wives tales....and doesn't mean anything.

Sorry but that is an old wives tale. Also I had worse morning sickness with my boys than with my girl. It's all chance I'm afraid. And if you do happen to have a boy...everyone will say I told you so!! There is a 50/50 chance so someone is always right in predicting the sex of your baby. The only way to find out for sure is an ultrasound although they aren't 100% accurate either. Best of luck with your baby, whether it's a boy or a girl!

This does not mean that it's a boy. I have 3 boys. My first pregnancy, I was sick the whole 9 months, he was high. The second I was only sick for about 4 months, he was low. My last one, which is 5 months old now, I was only sick for about 3 months and he was high also... so, every pregnancy can differ. Good luck with the new one, girl or boy ;)

well my stomach has set low my whole pregnancy and they say I am having a girl. I did have morning sickness though. I have heard that old wives tell many times. Everyone thought I was having a boy too. I think it just depends on what body type you are. I have always been a little thick and I am only 5 ft 3in tall.

It is an old wives tale. I was sicker then a dog for the first 3 months with my first pregnancy and I had a boy. My belly also sat low on my hips.

My cousin on the other hand had a girl and then a boy. She never got sick with either pregnancy and carried low for both of them.

So no it isn't true. For some it is but not for all.

No, none of that has been found to be true. It's just fun. Keep a note of all the different wives tales and include it in baby's scrapbook.

I had a boy and my belly was way high, and I had morning sickness every afternoon for months, so certainly I didn't fit it.

Nonono....My son Hunter, he's about 16 months. I carried him very high, and I had morning sickness everyday! Even in delivery! Those are just old wives tales, and each pregnancy is always different, so you might be haing a boy. I pregnant with my daughter right now, and I am carrying her very low. So, I wouldn't consider the tales...

well, thats what they say, but I carried my daughter so low that everyone swore I was going to have a boy. Currently I am pregnant with a boy and I am carrying so high that I keep getting comments about how people know I'm going to have another girl. I don't really think you can tell a baby's gender by the way you are carrying.

That's not true at all. With my first pregnancy, I puked the whole time, and my stomach was high. Guess what? When the baby was born, it was a BOY.

With THIS pregnancy, I was nauseated, and my belly is trying to hang out the bottom of my shirts (attractive, huh), and I saw the "three little lines" that indicate a girl.

You never know, though. My mother had seven of us, and SHE said that every pregnancy was the same.

Ignore the wives tales. You'll drive yourself nuts trying to decipher what they all mean.

No, that is not true. It is what is called an old wives tell. I had two daughter with low stomachs and a boy with a high one.

It could be. I have two boys and with my first I had no sickness but with my second I was sick for three months. I did carry both low though.
