list of engine sizes and bhp's

Remove the engine and take it to a dyno shop.

Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, generator, differential, water pump, and other auxiliary components. Thus the prefix "brake" refers to where the power is measured: at the engine's output shaft, as on an engine dynamometer. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less. An engine would have to be retested to obtain a rating in another system. The term "brake" refers to the original use of a band brake to measure torque during the test (which is multiplied by the engine RPM and a scaling constant to give horsepower).

Effective horsepower, True HP or wheel horsepower is the power converted to useful work. In the case of a road vehicle this is the power actually turned into forward motion as measured on a chassis dynamometer.

"True hp" will be 10% to 20% or more lower than the engine's "bhp" ratings due to drivetrain losses

If it is the 6 speed version then the BHP is 115 to 150.
If it is the normal version then it would be between
90 and 110.

the drivers handbook should give there details as should the workshop manual. garage reference data books such as autodata generally give this info. a rolling road will give BHP output to the road wheels. some vehicles like mini.s loose 25% me power through the transmission. ie race tuned mini cooper s putting out 111 BHP from engine gives 83 BHP on rolling road.

I dont savour wht u r compaing the following. yet motor cycles are more competitively priced is unique experience cos, the engine has to bypass in basic terms one wheel in evaluation with 2 wheels in a vehicle. also weight of motor cycle is way reduce back than a autos weight. So really it shud be extra value-helpful to run a motor cycle for a unmarried human being than a vehicle. motor vehicle is for one extra purpose and u wont get mileages of 60kmpl in any motor vehicle in india for now. Comparision itself is invalid despite the indisputable fact that if.

Either look up the specs on he internet, or , for a accurate figure you need to take it to a testing centre that has a rolling road or a dyno test.

Ever seen top gear?
The proper way is to use one of those specialised ramps with rollers under the wheels so that the wheels spin freely
