Ok, so I'm a 23 year old female who graduated high school 5 years ago. I generally wear black t-shirts with either band names or dark designs on them, my studded belt, jeans and black vans. It's how I have always dressed. I was invited by my old health class teacher to speak to his class about being a nurse, I was just wondering if I should wear what I normally wear, or should I wear something different?Anyways, I'm worried his class (all girls) are gonna be the typical brats that high school girls normally are and make fun of what I'm wearing. I know, I shouldn't worry cause I'm older than them and who cares what they think, but I can't help it, I've always been really shy and self-conscious. What do you think??

Probably if you're coming in as a representative of your field, you should dress somewhat professionally.
Make sure you dress appropriately for YOUR age group, not theirs...nothing looks worse than a woman trying to look like the next age group down.

Wear what u normally wear but include something from the school uniform like a tie if u have or the school monogram badge etc dont care about what other people think about u, tell them whats in ur heart like u feel good by removing other people's pain(being a nurse) and u like ppl always smiling and that is why u have chosen this job, to put smiles back on the faces who lost them! U dont go for money, luxuries, u spend ur time helping others and not think about urself!

Go as you normally dress, that will help you to feel most comfortable, and I think the kids will think differently (positively) about choosing nursing if you can be hip like that and not just an old-fashioned grandma type.

Wear something semi-formal.An oxford top,with a nice necklace.A plaid or nice skirt,and a pair of dress shoes. Or mix and match semi-formal outfits for a good look.

hey I think u should wear jeans and your belt but then wear some tank top that isn't black and some jewelary then they will totally like the way u dress

Wear something else...i like the way you dress..i also dress that way. but wear something else....that is cute. it doesn't necessarily have to be professional or look like you are going to work...just wear something really cute. and if you like...throw in something that you USUALLY wear....and you like that. wear something that will compliment your body. and when you walk in....look like you run the place...and let those girls know...that you already graduated....so you have already been through the highschool experience....and if they don't back down now...they will wish they did.
