Jesus would have told Mohammed that it is wrong to marry 9 year old girls (the age of Aisha when he married her).
The beliefs systems are not the same. In spite of the crusades, christianity is based on forgiveness and understanding whereas islam is based on duty to allah. Christianity is based on the new testamant while islam is closer to the ideals of the old testament which was filled with violence and intolerance of other religions.
Jesus spread his message by being a good person, feeding the masses and becoming a matyr (he was killed for his beliefs). Mohammed was a warlord who spread islam at the point of a sword. Later christians did the same thing, but jesus himself was against that sort of thing.

Jesus is a prophet in the Q'uaran (he is known by the name Isa in the Q'uaran) and yes they are a friends-all the prophets are, Moses, Abraham, all of em. And yes the two belief systems at heart are the same, unfortunatly-especially in modern times cultural aspects of the middle east are passed off as Islamic teaching when in fact there not-even to muslims!

Just thinking about this....both are descended from Abraham - Jesus through Isaac and Mohammed through Ishmail. But Jesus is noted in the New Testament as saying "Before Abraham was, I AM." Did Mohammed claim to exist before the patriarch Abraham, or use the Old Testament name of God (I AM) of himself, I wonder?

apparently they met briefly at jerusalem when mohammad was ascending the stairway to heaven. No record of their conversation exists. moses however deserves great credit for getting their daily prayers down to five a day!
