Yep, Eisenhower's star has been on the rise over the last 25 years. The man was brilliant, he was raised in a Pacifist family who were appalled when he went to West Point. I feel like his upbringing combined with his military training really gave him a balance in his life that many people don't get. Strategically you couldn't beat him. He was very very savvy about the world.
