You seem to have made your choice, so stick with it. Learn to pronounce clearly "Do you want fries with that?", "Regular or Super?" and "Where the hell is that air strike?".

The fact that somewhere, someplace, once upon a time some people were enslaved might be considered a detail in history.
However the fact that slavery is alive and well and also is perfectly legal in some countries- like Sudan for example- is much less of a "detail" but a crime crying out to heavens for vengeance.
BTW, stay out of the sun. It can give you skin cancer, even with the best of sun block creams

Its good to know history - know what happened, now what the results were so that we can make sure it doesn't happen again.
It bores me too but its good to know. Its easier to learn from the mistakes of others than to make them ourselves. I feel bad about the slavery but I also agree it is in the past, there is no group of people who are enslaved today or repressed so there is no reason for people to still be whining about it.

Catching a sun tan won't get you a job to pay your rent! You need to concentrate most on your spelling. Boaring? is that to do with pigs?

While you're tanning, brush up on your English. It's "boring", not "boaring". Human history is a fascinating subject that will educate you and exercise your brain. Tanning will give you leathery, wrinkled skin ... not to mention skin cancer.
