I'm not sure I "claimed" conservative had the patent on morals.. however, as a whole.. conservatives are much more morally sound than Libs... true there are exceptions on both sides... but, c'mon, don't pretend your party is the party of moral values....
Oh, and thanks once again for adding more to my question to twist it to your point of view....

It would appear you have hit a nerve with a lot of the socialists out tonight.
Morality is about right and wrong, black and white. When you favored leader talks like this "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is. If the—if he—if 'is' means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing. If it means there is none, that was a completely true statement", well you can see that there is no sense of wrong in that one, and they all look up to that.
That is okay to lie under oath because it was only about sex, way to go, what a moral compass is that.
When there concept is for the greater good
that the end always justifies the means.
well that tells you clearly if you are not a brainwashed moron, that they have no morals, no sense of right and wrong.

I think everyone has moral values. It doesn't matter if your conservative or liberal.
This being an encyclopedia reference to moral values I think that although I am a liberal I do have moral values.
Moral values are things held to be right or wrong or desirable or undesirable. While morality is sometimes described as 'innate' in humans, the scientific view is that a capacity for morality is genetically determined in us, but the set of moral values is acquired, through example, teaching, and imprinting from parents and society.
Think about what you say before you type it some of the things you said in your question were offensive.

No, not hilarious. I find it a degradation to morals themselves. I have never seen a bigger misunderstanding of what morals are, then by most Liberals. One moral is to honor your country. Liberals seem to want to spell honor, like horror. Told you they don't understand what morals are.

A good question. The fly in the ointment is that, according to your question-why would they even bring up a topic they know so little about, they would be restricted to ONE topic-mudslinging and insulting their political adversaries.

Moral values? If they believe in evolution as the sole source for all life, then all life and all desires are of equal value.
If all are of equal value, then NO decision is either moral or immoral!
Since a true LIBERAL has no faith in any God, moral discussions are just subterfuge!

are you saying Republicans have morals?
it sounds like you are... but it's kind of hard to believe?
the real question should be "Does anyone else find it hilarious when politicians try and talk about moral values?"
and there are different sets of morals... I know you didn't know that, but I thought I would just let you in on the secret...

I think your question would be taken more seriously if you had facts/evidence to support your nonsense. Cons are just as bad as brining up items they know very little about such as the war will pay for itself, we will be greeted as liberators, etc

No.
For anyone to claim to have a patent on morality is immoral in itself. Just ask Newt G, Giuliani, Foley, Libby, Cheney, Druggie Limbaugh, Fwaffle O'Reily, and the host of other 'upright", outstanding pillars of morality.
