I believe that it is! When one say's your suppose to mean it! Don't just say it because your significant other says it! Say it and mean it!
Basically when I say it to a girl i mean it and forever it will stay!! No wandering eyes on this part!
Love is a sacret thing that needs to be cherished!
Just like the Snow Patrol lyrics from the song "Chasing Cars":
"Those three words,
Are said too much "
-But when you mean it when u say it its forever!!
THants what i think!

I think it depends on how liberal you are with the words. It also depends on the type of love. Out of the men i have said I love you to, only two of them have been real love. And i will love both of them forever, but perhaps not in a romantic way.

Yes, I do. I wouldnt tell someone that I loved them if I didn't. If you love someone...actually love them..then it is forever, because love is forever. It never ends.

If you said it, I would be sure you were talking to the person behind me.
Others have said it to me in the past and I've been burned.
There is one that for some reason I would believe her and anything else she would tell me.

I think statistically "i love you" means you'll be together six months.

I think there are cases when "I love you" is forever, but I think that's very, very rare.

Nowadays, people seem to confuse infatuation, moderate attraction, or even casual aquaintance for "love"

Love isn't forever, unfortunately.

My wife divorced me. I loved her with everything in me, even though we had our problems. As years went by after the divorce I had to learn to not love her. Now I don't. She wanted the divorce because she "claimed" she didn't love me anymore.

I have believed it before and it wasn't. Sure like to believe you but I guess "only time will tell."

Well forever is not forever. No one can guarantee forever.
My X just said forever to his 3rd wife.
I rest my case.
