Rabbit droppings are High in Nitrogen and shouldn't be used unless its mixed with regular compost or allowed to age. (Actually- no manure should be used as fertilizer unless its allowed to age.)

and while it can work as good fertilizer, you'll need to becareful if you're using it for flowers- and do some research as to how you should go about it without harming the buds.

Its ideal for grass growth though. I've used it and have never had problems.

Yes. It is high in Nitrogen, but it is low in acidity. For most manures it is not good to put them directly on your garden as your plants are growing because of their acidity, especially chicken manure (it is very high in acidity). But rabbit manure is so low in acidity that you can add as much as you want and not worry about chemically burning your plants. Sometimes my dad and I will till in about a 4 inch think layer of rabbit manure into the garden. It helps by adding organic matter, by adding nitrogen and micro-nutrients, and by helping raise the CEC of the soil, meaning that the soil can retain more nutrients and water.

Another good advantage of rabbit manure is that it doesn't have the weed seeds in it like cattle or horse manure do. Rabbits eat rabbit pellets, whereas cattle and horses graze and their manure picks up the seeds of all the weeds they eat.

Rabbit manure also makes a great medium for raising red worms. Many redworms are grown and produced using rabbit manure. And to top it off, the by-product from the worm beds where the redworms have ate and lived in the rabbit manure is that it makes a perfect potting soil for growing African Violets in.

Also rabbit manure is great for tomatoes. Mine grow 2-3 times as big as any of my neighbors by putting rabbit manure around them. I once looked up how the world record was grown. After reading some, I found out he used rabbit manure to help him grow the world's largest tomato. It was a Delicious variety tomato and the person used rabbit manure to help him grow it. My great aunt swears it makes her flowers grow twice as big.
