the pre-departure procedures vary from country to country. please specify what is your country of origin and i will tell you what is the exact process.

since you have not specified your country of origin, then take my advice, go to your country's immigration or labour department and find out what are the documents and procedures required so you can travel out of your country without hassles. otherwise, 95% of the time, immigration in your country's airport will not give you consent to board your flight if you don't have proper immigration documents.

Depends upon your nationality and gender. Some countries- Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, have strict rules before clearning women for taking up jobs in the Middle East. For males, the rules are a bit simpler in these countries.

If you can specify your nationality, I can provide you more details about the exit procedures to take jobs in UAE. Also, you'll need to state what type of a job you're taking up since rules differ for skilled, unskilled and semi-skilled professions.

www.government.ae is a good website to begin with, but doesnt contain much information for prospective employees in UAE.

I am not sure your nationality and present country of residence. I believe you got a new employment visa for UAE and planning to go there. As per the UAE visa regulations, you don’t have to carryout any formalities in your country of origin, like medical fitness and visa stamping etc. Just arrange a confirmed air ticket and copy or the original of the visa are enough to enter to UAE. (If you are having copy of the visa, then the original will be submitted at the port of entry prior to your arrival. Inform your employer your flight details on this regard).

Once you reach there you have to complete the residence visa stamping procedures. Your employer or his representative (PRO) will assist you on accomplishing these formalities.

Hope the above information will help.
