Wow I didn't think someone as uneducated as you would be able to use the computer to even ask this question . You obviously watch too much TV, New Jersey is nothing like you describe . It's one of the most affulent states in the country. It has bad sections, as do all the states. Let me know where you are from, that's the state we should avoid because I truly hate racist..

I think you are an ignoramus who knows nothing about this great state. Thanks for your uninformed, racist mysogonist input.
New Jersey has the largest stretch of protected beach on the east coast. New Jersey has one of the largest protected pine forests. Yes, the turnpike is disgusting, but that is one small fraction and is the equivelent of walking along the train tracks and judging the state. Please, New Jersey has the highest per capita of income than any state and one of the best educations systems. It is one of the top states for sending high school graduates to college.

Go to Bergen County, NJ and you'll see some of the most affluent and successful communities in the US. Saddle River, NJ is the 13th richest town in America.

Russell Simmons owned a house in SR that as of last year was on the market for $20 million. Hell, in my own town there was a kid rich enough to have his own arcade games (new ones at the time, too).

First, you are a racist and secondly, if you lived in New Jersey you would be miserable too. Just go there & look around at that cesspool suburb of that larger toilet, New York City & you will see why they are miserable...too many New Yorkers & New Jerseyites for anyone to be happy. PS: you should learn that America is spelled with a capitol A!

It's from the tenement culture their grandparents and great-grandparents dealt with. They're always trying to fight each other for resources, but that isn't necessary in 2007.
The guidos crack me up too. I'm Eastern Cherokee and use pomade, gels etc., but that's because we have what's called an Asian hair type---straight, thick and black. The way my hair grows naturally, it spikes with little effort when I run a bit of gel in it (I'm a gal but like porcuspikes.) Italians just look silly trying to get their hair straight--in fact, I always thought their hair type would be much nicer with a curl activator, just enough sheen and definition, but not that god-awful slicked-back stuff. We have more than our share of the guido culture in CT, and it's funny to observe.

Ooooooh, tell us how you really feel!!!
New Jersey is a very diversified state. Beaches, cities, small towns, universities, industry, farms.
Mabye what makes the people seem so miserable to you is your attitude toward their home state!

What's a guido? Anyway, I stayed in East Rutherford last year and I think New Jersey is the armpit of America.
