45 mpg as tested by a bike magazine on 09/2003

I have the VTX1300R and a full tank of gas gets me about 130 miles before hitting reserve ,they told me I should be able to go about 16 more miles on reserve but do not chance it more than that ,
So when Im on a trip I fill back up by 120 miles just to be on the safe side ,/ 30 miles per gallon is what I average but I am also in a city and there is a stop light every 500ft . Awsome bike I must add !/ Peace
