That really is not a simple yes or no question, honestly.

Do you believe it is fair for innocent children or women to be raped and cut up into pieces? Do you believe it is fair to take the lives of other people indiscriminately without a fair trial or the judgement of peers? Do you believe that rules are not rules and that morals are not morals?

Then, if you honestly, truly believe that the above actions and beliefs are correct then the death penalty is unjust. The killer, murderer, rapist and torturer does not give their victims the opportunity to live their lives in freedom and peace. Why then should a court who hears the facts of the crimes and who knows the laws allow such murderers, rapists, torturers, and killers to live their lives in freedom and peace?

It is not safe to walk our streets anymore because people doubt that true evil can exist. I have sat on juries and I can tell you that true evil does exist and it rears its ugly head more often now that evil knows it is more difficult to catch it and lock it away. The only way to protect the innocent is to remove the murderers, rapists, killers, and torturers from our streets - whether it be by death penalty or life incarceration - just keep them away from those I count as dear - the innocent, hard-working, intelligent and law-abiding citizens. What other solution is there?

This question is not really about what is FAIR since the person that death penalties are written for is not what I would call FAIR with their victims.

Yes in fact i do. If a person does something bad like kill a million people for no reason they deserve the death penalty. They shouldnt be in jail for a few years then be released because they could just keep doing whatever they did to get in jail.
