Due to the spin of the media, yes, mentioning Bush is probably bad right now. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Since just about every one of the Dems has flip flopped on the war, I know that they're nothing but lying hypocrites. With Bush being so unpopular, I know that anyone who sticks with him, or at least the war is at least somewhat principled, and it also allows me to spot the media whores who will change their position with the changing political winds.

President Bush the man is very modest. I'm sure they were asked not to embarrass him with too much praise.

Try as they might, try as they may, they will never be able to shake off the stink that Bush keeps emanating. Did you notice the way McCain kept fanning his hands around?

I am a Republican, and don't belong to Yahoo! It also wasn't MY first debate, but a debate by Republican candidates. See why Liberals can't get anything right? They're always making up falsities. I pray one day you will get it right. Right-wing, that is.

"MY" 1st debate?? Oh crap! You mean I had a debate and I didn't even know it?? Dang! How'd that happen? Was I slurring my words? Maybe I was sleep-talking.
Sheesh! I've just got to try and pay more attention to what I'm doing!

Why would they???? They are the ones running for president, just cause the democrats can't seem to understand that their debate time isn't a time to bash Bush but let us know what they stand for! If they stand for anything! You are only given a short time and you are suppose to use it to talk about yourself, it's incredible you democrats don't understand this.

Did it ever occur to you that Bush isn't running in this election? Can't y'all find something else to whine about once in a while? This really is getting tiresome.
