I am 34 weeks pregnant and I hear the same thing. So you r not alone. I asked my midwife but she never heard of it either. I have yet to ask my doctor. However, I am quite concerned.
recent info:
I saw my doctor today and she said I'm the first patient who has ever brought this up to her but she said it is probably the bones of the baby rubbing together, which therefore make a cracking sound. She said there is no need to worry over this and everything will be fine.

I watched this thing on TV one time and it sounds like the baby's bones could be rubbing together if you hear a popping from inside. It isn't anything to worry about it is just the baby moving around.

Isn't there a syndrom that people get that their bones are really fragile and break easy? I saw a story on Dateline once about a little boys who was born with this, and he couldn't do anything because his bones would break...not to freak you out but you may want to research...

I certainly have 3 infants, and looks like they could be the genuine element. to be greater precise, next time you get one that hurts, time it and look ahead to the subsequent one. in case you notice that they are close, each and every 5 to 7 minutes, you ought to be on the factor of bypass to the wellbeing center. on condition that its your first toddler, do no longer wait until they harm too plenty. you have the opt to make specific you get to the wellbeing center on time. additionally once you bypass confirm you have all your kit waiting, in case you have no longer have been given it waiting, this could be a good time to coach, as quickly as the hard artwork starts off its fairly difficult to take into consideration each and every thing. good luck and God bless.
