Johnny Unitas.
Johnny U retired with 22 NFL records
1969 named "Greatest Quarterback of All-Time"

Troy Aikman, who gets overlooked, and is easily one of the best quarterbacks that's ever lived. He has the largest number of wins of any quarterback in any decade. Or Roger Staubach, innovator in the run and gun style of offense and retired with (at that time) the highest passer ratinng of all time. He originated the "Hail Mary" pass, was a 6-time Pro Bowl selection, and consistently highly productive, although his career was cut short by serving as an officer in the Navy during Vietnam.

Mark Rippen from the glory days of the Redskin threw a deep ball better than anyone. Never bragged or showed off like T.O. but was a quite player like Marvin Harrison. Not show boating in the NFL is really rare. :]

I would bring back Fran Tarkleton. He was a spectacular passer and had som very famous touch down passes. He also was a scrambling quarterback. He was very quick and could outrun almost any defense.

Troy Aikman for sure. Could have easily been the best QB ever if his (short) career wasn't plagued with concussions. He was/is also one of the nicest guys to ever play the game. If anyone deserves a second chance to come back into the game, it'd be him.
