if so, was wondering how much it cost you for the course, as i'm doing one with skillstrain and i think they're taking the piss, charging over £2,000. For what i'm actually getting for my money, i reckon £2 would be a better figure.

Don't waste your money!!! Buy yourself an A+ Certification Study Guide from Sybex (Search Amazon.com) and study fro it by yourself, it can easily be covered in one month (if you study properly for 2 hours daily) and then register/schedule a test from VUE.com or Thomson Prometric (search google for their site's address) they both charge almost same for the test, i think its USD 120. The book will cost 100 at most, so you are looking at USD 220 at most. That makes, GBP 110.

It was the early to mid 90's when A+ first started, the idea was to test your learned skills not your ability to take tests. Too bad it has become a training issue and not for what it was intended. Buy the books, learn computers, take the test. I wouldn't give a penney to the trainers to teach me the test.

the test consists of 2 tests. and it's around 300.00 to take both and you can buy the book for around $40.00. so if you are going thru one of these online schools, you are getting ripped!!!
