I'd proabably make a joke about it to break the tension. When I went out eith this one guy on a first date, I called him my ex-boyfriend's name and it was soo embarassing, but I just made a quick joke about what a meanie he was and got away with it. Blondes can get away with a lot of stuff. ;)
