I've been drinking a lot today (not alcohol) and I just practicially chugged down a glass of water. I know that nusea is one of the symptoms of too much water and i feel that way now. I'm also really tired and my stomach is like eally upset. Does anyone know what I should do (at home) because my parents probably won't take me to the doctor... help please. (i also overate a little bit because i didnt want to come across as rude to one of my friend's moms..?) thank you to anyone who at least tries to help!

You chugged down some water. That is not harmful to you.
Go to Wikipedia and read about water intoxification. TOO much water CAN kill you.
BTW, that happens to me too. If I drink water I get a little nauseated. Try some flavored water, it really does help.
You said you ate a lot today. THAT is why you are nauseated... you had too much to eat!

Why did you drink so much water in the 1st place? Well, you could get sick from drinking a lot of water, you can also get swollen from all of the water. If you stomach is upset from eating, you can also take an antacid. Or two, if it really bothers you. And like it was said before, just keep urinating, that is the only way all the water will come out of your body, unless you had water pills, but I'm not sure of your age. So, stop drinking anymore water and urinate. Good luck!

A few reasons :) First of all often you think you are hungry when you are actually thirsty. If you have a drink of water and then wait for 10 minutes you may find the "hunger" has gone! Also, water has no calories (duh lol) so you can fill your tummy with water without putting on weight. This can help give you a full feeling and help you to resist snacking. Water can also help with dieting in general as it cleans out your whole system and can get rid of toxins in your system which can actually cause cravings. The sooner these toxins are washed out of your system, the less cravings you will have. Hope this helps x

Unfortunately you didn't specify why you drank too much water. In any case, this is NOT dangerous! Yes, you might throw up, but that's about it. If you trow up, you will in fact feel much better, so don't supress if you need to. To prevent this from happening again, you need to understand why you drank so much. Did you do it to loose weight, or because you ate too much salty heavy food, or because of hang over?
