i have tried EVERYTHING. ive rebooted, scanned for spyware, restored it, re-booted the modem more than 15 times, changed the settings to my network connections, but nothing will work. i have never allowed any1 but myself use that computer. the only thing that is connected to it from another computer is the one providing me with the internet. give me ALL of your suggestions.

Try doing this:
Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections.
You need to configure your Internet connection.
Use the wizard to set up your Internet connection and you will also have to configure your router/modem by running the CD/software that came with it.

Well, I'm sorry but you don't give enough information to give a good answer.

What kind of connection do you have? Is it DSL, ADSL, cable, dial up. Are you able to have more than one connection for your account. That would be my first question.

If you are, I would look at you settings first. Your connectivity as far as your computer.

You need to give more information to get an answer that get you somewhere.

1. What kind of connectivity do you have?
2. Are you allowed more than one computer (ip address) for your account.
3. What are your internet settings. (In the control panel/Internet options/connections)
4. Have you recycled the power on your hub and rebooted?

You need to give more info....

Did you get a cd with the router? You need to install the program. I think they only work if you have cable or DSL type internet. I don't know that much but thats what I had to do.
