I've been hearing a lot about the VA tech shootings, while I admit it is a tradgedy, I'm kind of torn. I mean yes 33 people were killed and everyone has paid tribute to the faces of the VA tech shootings. Where is all the support for those lost in the war? Where is the tributes to the soldiers who put their lives on the line for our country? I may not agree with the war, but this is getting ****** up. I'm not trying to sound like a *****. I just don't agree with any of it. I do think that there should be recognition for those killed in the shootings, but shouldn't we do the same for the soldiers? Another thing that I don't agree with is the fact that America paid more attention to Anna Nicole Smith's death than that of OUR soldiers. SHE WAS A ******* PORN STAR WHO BECAME RICH FROM A ******* OLD DUDE! Our soldiers put their lives on the line everyday and it seems they get no recognition. They fight for us. They put their lives on the line for us. For America. You pick up a newspaper or a magazine and there is more about movie stars breaking up or movie stars dying, than there is about our soldiers. All it says is how many were killed. I think that America is pretty ****** up if all they care about is hollywood rather than regular people fighting for what they may or may not believe in for US If you don't agree with this than I am sorry, but this is my first step. This is what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to pay tribute for those who fight for me, and for all of the US. If you agree with this, please feel free to comment. If not, then I'm sorry but you don't have to agree with me. Go be shallow and read more about Brad Pitt and Angelina, cuz God knows they're not the one's fighting for YOU!

Th Bush Administration is doing everything possible not to allow journalists and news media to cover our soldiers' deaths. The administration is afraid that talking too much about dead soldiers would result in less support for the war in Iraq.

Don't blame the media, blame our retarded president.

The troops need our support, but they are not automatically blessed by being fighters. Historical example: Washington issued the following order to his troops: Colonel Washington has observed that the men of his regiment are very profane and reprobate. He takes this opportunity to inform them of his great displeasure at such practices and assures them that if they do not leave them off, they shall be severely punished. The officers are desired, if they hear any man swear or make use of an oath or execration, to order the offender twenty-five lashes immediately, without court-martial. For the second offense, he will be more severely punished.3 Washington’s firm opposition to profanity in the military never wavered, as evidenced by military orders he issued on several occasions throughout the American Revolution. For example: The General most earnestly requires and expects a due observance of those articles of war established for the government of the army which forbid profane cursing, swearing and drunkenness; and in the like manner requires and expects of all officers and soldiers not engaged on actual duty, a punctual attendance on Divine Service to implore the blessings of Heaven upon the means used for our safety and defense. 4 GENERAL ORDERS, CAMBRIDGE, JULY 4, 1775 IOW, God will bless, if they will bless the God of heaven. Speaking as an old soldier myself, not as a civilian.

It is standard operating procedure to deny any information which might prove useful to our enemies, which include photographs of dead American soldiers returning home.

This was true in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and any other conflict which the U.S. Army was involved.
