so my eighteenth bday is coming up soonish and i really want to get my nose pierced then. problem is, the place that i work at, won't allow it. they said that i can have my nose pierced just as long as the nose ring is out when i'm at work. can i get it pierced and take it out for work, or do i have to leave it in for a certain amount of time?? i'd be getting it done on a friday, so i could leave it in all weekend, but i'd have to take it out for four hours each day starting that monday...

u are supposed to keep the jewelry in until it heals, which can be 6-8 weeks or even longer...taking it out for even a short amount of time will irritate the piercing, & might possibly cause infection...plus, it doesn`t take the hole very long to close!!! one of my piercings closed up after only 3 hours, because facial piercings tend to close very quickly!!!

i had my nose pierced for my 18th bday, but you have to leave it in for at least 6 weeks - if you were to take it out after the weekend, it would heal up immediately.

Yes you can do it.
thats what i would do.
but it will hurt getting the nose ring out.
you might want to keep poking it with a pin during work though.
