To Josh G.....umm......think about it.....they're 40, I'm only 15. One time, my friend and I were walking to the store and this guy driving by, honks his horn and wolf whistles at us. We thought he would be younger but when we looked, we were so disgusted. I only take it as a compliment when someone younger does it.

I would love it if a 40 year old man whistled at me - married or not.
I`M 52 !
Strange, but as you get older you think men don`t do that whistling thing any more - it must be out of fashion or against the law or something - then you read something like this and you realise - THEY JUST DON`T DO THE WHISTLING THING AT ME ANY MORE !!!

Don't remember, I must have been fourteen.
Anyway, on Long Island, men kind of know better. They don't even look you in the face, or bother to hold doors for you. Come to thinkof it, same is true of Albany, NY.
But in the rural towns just outside of Albany, men tend to be more like gentleman.
And some stare and ask you out.
Whatever; Urban feminism just hasn't reached men out here in the boonies.
And I rather prefer being here and usually being treated like a lady, than being nobody, ever, and having the few men who dare to look at me for a whole second be afraid of me.

No, but it does make me a little uncomfortable.
Seriously though, why? They aren't doing anything harmful to you. That's the price of beauty, you don't get to pick who admires you. Would it be different if it were a hot, single, 22 year old? Of course it would. Do you dress as absolutely hot/cute as you can? I mean, really, what do you want from a 40 year old married guy? He already knows he isn't getting any.

Yes, it makes me feel sick. they're old enough to be my dad (which i often point out to them) What's worse is when they're even older, the other day i'm sure a man of at least 60 whistled at me! urgh xxx
