But Bush was qualified after the same amount of time as the governor of Texas?

She was also in the White house for 8 years!

I think the Constitution spells out who is qualified, and she certainly more than meets the requirements!

Bush's main claim to fame as governor of Texas was that he held the record in executions, including 2 women, a person who was a child when he committed the crime and a person who was mentally incapacitated at the time he was executed. Something Bush said he would never do!!

Bush advocated and signed the two largest tax cuts to date in Texas history, totaling over $3 billion. To pay for the cuts, he sought (unsuccessfully) federal approval of a plan to privatize Texas' social services. Education reform was a priority throughout his terms, with legislation emphasizing local control of schools, higher standards, and a revised curriculum. Controversy has followed, with charter schools mired in financial scandals and protests against one test determining a child's promotion. After winning reelection in 1998, Bush began his bid for the presidency and was not as involved in the 76th Legislature in 1999.

I think being a Senator is as powerful as most governors, especially when you consider they work at the Federal level, not state. And Bush really spent one term as governor as he started running for president the minute he was re-elected. He was not involved in most state processes!

Under the Constitution, Senator Hillary Clinton is qualified to run as President after six years in service.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Clinton will win.

to 'are we the...'

You yourself should study some civics. As regards Texas, its legislature meets only once every two years and its governor holds little legislative power. In his term as Governor, the state declined in every known way, including its educational system... although this was covered up by extensive secrecy (sound familiar?)...

I'm no fan of Hillary, but Bush is arguably the most ill informed and unqualified president to ever hold office, and the folks that love him are denser than cinder blocks.

Governors are leaders, Senators are representatives.
How many Senators have been elected president in the past 100 years? How many governors?

Here is the problem: Hillary was elected in a state that would elect any person of moderate celebrity and a human body to the U.S. Senate. She was elected once by a state that is devoid of morality. How can that be construed as a qualification for the U.S. presidency?
If you consider it a qualification, then you must value integrity, intelligence, and wisdom very little. I will be the first in line to expatriate myself if she wins. But, then again, who in the world expects that?
(It must be difficult for liberals to be force to choose between a black candidate and a woman candidate. Now they just need a homosexual candidate to round out the minority card they're playing.)

Because Bush ran a state, Hillary only follows opinion polls.
