Are the models "models" or are they exploited? To me they look ridiculous standing there with the faux expressions during the case openings. Not nor ever will be a fan of Mandel, dubbed or not. Over the top crowd and participant boosters are comical. Why do I feel this way? Watched it four or five times. That's enough. Never again. I prefer the origiinal Who Wants To Be a Millionaire because at the very least it requires a bit a skill and not just chance and therefore limited pathos.

I find it interesting that a person who has never even SEEN $50,000 before suddenly finds that amount not enough and insists on going for the million.

Hmm, lets see, you get a chance to win money simply by picking the right briefcases, when in fact , you walked in with nothing. It's not so much greed, i think it's more in the knowing that this chance may never come again. Sure, you could take 50000$ and walk away, ORRRRR, you can pick just 2 more cases and maybe get offered 120,000. I know what i'd do.
As to the "models", they get paid, that's their job.

Dude, look at the big picture: It's a million dollars. All you have to do is pick cases until the million is out of the game, and play the stats after so you can go home with the biggest wad.

For me, I just play the online game with the hopes of getting my grubby hands on that ten grand.

IMHO, no. Let's just say....it's popular. That's the main reason that people know about it. But if it was a lesser show with less popularity, I wouldn't be able to criticize because I really wouldn't know that it existed! In that way, there could've been tons of more greed-stricken shows.

I agree there is something odd about the show.I think theres stuff going on that we dont see and its obvious they know who the contestant is going to be before the show starts.Anyway like millionaire the magic will go away soon and it will be just another show.

I prefer the original Who Wants To Be.......also. Deal or No Deal is very high in the ratings. Even Oprah played it on her show yesterday and gave the money to a member of her audience.
At least you're smart enough not to watch if you don't enjoy it. Bottom line: People are greedy.
