0Working full time is generally 9-5 and works out at 40 hrs a week but most people work 37hrs. Working part time can be anything less than that but most people would work 25-30 hrs.
Hope this helps.

It is going to vary by jurisdiction, but most consider 24 or fewer hours a week to be part time, even by union contract. Full time is anything greater than 24 but it must be every week, just not an occasional greater than. On the same basis, if you do have full time work at 35 or better and get a few weeks of only 15 hours, you would still be full time staff and accorded benefits on that basis.

full time is 40 hours and part time is anything less. most companied set 34 hours as the cutoff where you do not get benefits such as life and health insurance and many companies limit all employees to this limit to save money and cheat you out of health insurance.
