Use a lubricant like Vaseline. It will go in easily.Insert at an angle towards the small of your back.

first of all DON"T use vaseline, it is not something you want inside of you try a water based lubricant like K-Y jelly on the tube part not the actual tampon and do try using smaller tampons(keep a couple extra in your purse along with the lubricant). Try standing with one foot on the edge of the toliet seat and one on the floor squat just a little and tilt your pelvis just a little bit forward. Go slowly just a little at a time. You will know it is in the right place when you can't feel it inside you. Relax when you are doing this and don't just push and try not to clench your vaginal muscles when doing this because that can make it uncomfortable.

Your hymen is probably blocking the way. You might need to see your doctor to widen the opening to allow the tampon to be inserted. If it's only widened a little, it won't affect your virginity. The alternative is using pads.

DON'T stick it in the hold you pee out of ... that 's the wrong opening! You could hurt yourself by trying to do that.

If you're a virgin your hymen may still be intact, which is stopping you getting it in properly. Tiny tears in it will be letting the blood come out.

Or it could be vaginismus - basically if you've nervous about it going in (or not, as the case may be) your vagina involuntarily spasms and pretty much shuts itself. I used to get it every time my ex tried to have sex with me because I hated him, and yeah it does hurt. Maybe stick to using towels?

relax. there is a whole, don't worry haha.

it's at an angle. try putting it in pointing it toward your lower back, and i guess for the first time, get in a comfortable position.

Make sure you are inserting it in your vagina. Also use a small size of tampon, it will go in easier.
