Is it really Spring in the Northern Hemisphere??

Yes, things are in full bloom....the tulips which make their advent on the first to the third of may came in April this year and suffered through snow.....the Sakura trees (Cherry Blossoms)have gone beyond but beckoning the sun...as it lays in ribbons like corn silk or honey.....each tree is alive and yes the flowers are in bloom!!! The annuals are a sight to behold, with their array of panoramic colour, the perennials with their sassy bus now opened to sweet pinks, melancholy yellows, lipstick reds, violets....and even the pansies are striking a pose here in this plethora of colour burst.
I am in Ohio....and winter hung on like a sword in the hand of a giant, though as always winter does.....turn to spring.....The trees are sporting leaves so striong that even the raiments of winter cannot dispose of them....when the wind goes through them at night from my second story window it sounds like the applause at an opera!!! All are in bloom and mighty.....Woodie Guthrie wrote a song called..."God Bless the Grass..."...I am reminded of this when I think that a single blade of grass can push through and crack might cement sidewalks...undaunted...and so ....am ....I.
It is an honour to see nature doing its work.....and still the ribbons of sunlight lay symphonic through clouds to remind us that we too are anew.
Lovely question....
Thank You!!
