Who wrote and/ or originally performed this song? I know that Tim McGraw has a big hit with it now but I recall somebody else having a hit with it a while bac and I just can't think of who it is.

This song is written by Kenny Alpin, aka Big from the group Big and Rich. Tim is the original singer.

It didn't come up with much in a Limewire search, but a man named Johnny Taylor has a similarily titled song, "Last Two Dollars."
