i have a pub in a large-ish country town which has a first floor funtion room with its own toilets and bar. It has a wooden floor and a capacity of about 130 people. in the past it resembled a village hall with a picture rail and a dado rail round it yuk!
we are in the process of renovating it and have removed the rails and replastered etc. we are the only pub in the town with a 3am licence and wish to turn it into a night-club rather than a 'room above a pub'. unfortunately my husband and myself are stuck in the 80's when all clubs were done out in black and had chrome and mirrors etc. my 20 year old son tells me this is tacky and out-dated. he says we should go cream and light colours. Any ideas of a colour scheme or web sites with club interiors on it would be gratefully accepted. also what do you recommend to put on the walls such as pictures or mirrors? im open to any suggestions including, though not necessarily some themes. thank you

Cream and brown would be cool, maybe with stencils on, nice patterns or cream and a rich red! Gud luck!

Go out clubbing and have a look for yourselves .I think the system is more important than the paint in the past been to some terrible looking clubs but because the system was great with a good D.J I had a good night ! I went to the Hippodrome London when it was at its peak in the 80, s by and far the worst club I have ever set foot in boring DJ overpriced drinks loads of annoying yuppies and no atmosphere at all left early and went to a free entry bring your own beer dive above a shop on the tottenham court road and had such a great night / next day ! Still not found a place to better it 25 or so years later

I think it would be nice if you make the walls violet, with big mirrors with antique frames, a big screen for the football matches, a lot of alcohol and kind regards ......
