I know they are more sensitive to damage than other amps so I thought Id make sure. Is it bad for the amp to use it a few times in a day and switching it off between jams? Plus how should you connect/disconnect cables. The shopkeeper said disconnect from amp first, but my friend says switch it off first, another guy said turn the guitar down first, which is it? And whats the difference between 'master' and 'volume'? Plus is there anything else I should know about tube amps?
Thanks

id say turn the guitar down, then turn the amp off then disconnect the cables. make sure u give it plenty of time to warm up, it should have 2 switches.
i am not a guitarist i am a drummer but ive been in many bands with guitarists that have tube amps so i have an idea of what to do!!

you desire tubes for positive, in case you desire a smaller amp, a fender will paintings nicely, in case you desire an finished stack, bypass with an older marshall. even a 0.5 stack, those marshalls with the blue velvet fabric grate are a proper situation. of route it easily relies upon on your style besides. you could desire a distinct tone; you could desire a distinct look. bypass to the community music shop and check out some out. any sturdy guitar middle, and so on. allow you to try the amps. (i do it only for stimulating often times)
