Stand up and press down hard on your foot. Put all of your weight on it. Hold it for a minute. It will hurt initially but hold on because it is working its way out and will be gone in a few seconds

For years, I'd apply heat to mt foot and try to point my toes toward my knees as much as possible. Now, I just reach for a bottle of little pink homeopathic pills I found in the drugstore a few years ago. I slip one under my tongue for instant relief. I don't think a can give the name because that might be considered giving medical advice.

When my foot cramps I have to get out of bed and force myself to put weight on
it. I have started using magnets & no more foot or toe cramps. The toe cramps
are horrible as well. Rubbing your foot will help.

Walk it off. Or slam your foot into the wall ten times.

Stand on some cold cement. When my mom gets them during the night, she would stick her foot in the freezer for a minute or so. That's why she never puts anything on the bottom shelf.

Massage it for now... take in more potassium for future.
EDIT:
I used to cramp something awful. I would say to stand on it, but some people cannot handle the pain...it's best way though.
