I am going to study abroad in London this Fall so I was just wondering which school I should pick.

Before I started Goldsmiths, people said New Cross is a dodgy area. It's not as bad as people told me it would be. You didn't say what course you want to do. If you want to do art, then go for Goldsmiths. Otherwise, I'd personally choose Queen Mary.

Edit: If you want to do Drama and Film then I'd suggest Goldsmiths. Times Online rates Goldsmiths better than Queen Mary's for that particular subject.

Goldsmiths is in New Cross and QM is in Mile End. Neither of the two are very nice neighbourhoods. Mile End is close to the City so I think it's a better bet. As regards to which is the better school, they're both very good. I think your choice should come down to which offers a better programme of study for your course because of the 2 schools you're considering. Good luck!

they are both located in what most ppl would call 'the hood'. runned down areas
