"there's always something tearing you apart, it's always so much longer than you counted on, and it hits you so much harder than you thought, but you don't worry, you don't worry, 'cause you got soul"....from 'soul' by matchbox twenty. I love these lyrics because so much in everyday life keeps dragging me down, yet somehow I still manage to keep going. when I hear this song it reminds me why I keep fighting to keep my head held high.

well i really love the lyrics of Oct. Garden by the Beatles because they're really creative & still have a meaning. But a song ive been listening to a lot lately called Wrecking Hotel Rooms by MxPx goes
Do you hold
The phone when you're alone
Imagine that it rings
& hold it to your ear
& wish that I was there
So sing you off to sleep
Be with you in your dreams
i dont know why exactly but the poetry of the lyrics strikes me every time...theyre totally not the greatest most inspiring lyrics ive ever heard but they just flow really really well

A couple
First is from Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge on Seattle- She'll come back as fire and burn all the liars, leave a blanket of ash on the ground
Second is from Breed- We can plant a house we can build a tree
Third is from Stay away- Id rather be dead than cool
I like the first cause it sounds cool and i hate people, second cause its just kinda funny and third i really hate this obsession with conforming to try and be someone your not(cool for example)

I will light the match this mornin', so I won't be alone
Watch as she lies silent, for soon light will be gone
Oh, I will stand arms outstretched, pretend I'm free to roam
Oh, I will make my way, through, one more day in Hell...
How much difference does it make
How much difference does it make, yeah...
I will hold the candle till it burns up my arm
Oh, I'll keep takin' punches until their will grows tired
Oh, I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind
Hey, I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind
How much difference does it make
Mmm, how much difference does it make..how much difference...
I'll swallow poison, until I grow immune
I will scream my lungs out till it fills this room
How much difference
How much difference does it make
I like these because they're true. How much difference does this make.

"I have been dining with the enemy.
It was a wolf in sheep's clothing,
Now it's so clear to me.
I've had enough of your games.
If you're not trembling, you better be.
'Cause we're gonna be the end of you.
I've had enough of your games.
I'm gonna show them who you really are.
And I'll tell you right now, it won't be pretty."
-"A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing" by This Providence.
not sure why, but it's really good.

"angels" by robbie williams...beautiful lyrics!!!
I sit and wait
does an angel contemplate my fate
and do they know
the places where we go
when we´re grey and old
´cos I´ve been told
that salvation lets their wings unfold
so when I’m lying in my bed
thoughts running through my head
and I feel that love is dead
I’m loving angels instead
and through it all she offers me protection
a lot of love and affection
whether I’m right or wrong
and down the waterfall
wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
when I come to call she wont forsake me
I’m loving angels instead
when I’m feeling weak
and my pain walks down a one way street
I look above
and I know ill always be blessed with love
and as the feeling grows
she breathes flesh to my bones
and when love is dead
I’m loving angels instead
and through it all she offers me protection
a lot of love and affection
whether I’m right or wrong
and down the waterfall
wherever it may take me
I know that life wont break me
when I come to call she wont forsake me
I’m loving angels instead
