Do you use bookmarks when you read books?

Or are you superhuman and remember the page you were on?
Do you have a favorite bookmark that you use or several?

I use my pillow, or whatever happens to be handy and will fit in the book. I usually have to smash the pillow a bit to get it to fit.

I always use a bookmark (or a ripped piece of paper) my son has a habit of taking it out of my book though, which frustrates me.
My sister is one of those weird people who can remember the page number, she never uses a bookmark ever.

I use bookmarks because I love my books and do not want them dog-eared. I use different bookmarks given to me by bookstores. But yes, I am a superhuman, if you put it this way, because I do remember where I left.......

I could remember the page, but I'd still have to thumb to it.

With bookmarks, you just open the book up to the right page and start reading.

I have about 5 bookmarks and they're all in use right now.

I don't use a bookmark when I read comics, but I do use them when I read novels. My favorite bookmark I have is gold that has writing on it in red, has a keyhole, and has a short, red rope connected to the top of the bookmak.
